Who we are

ARY

The Augustinian Recollect Youth (ARY) is a Catholic youth ecclesial movement, present in various countries and driven by the Order of Augustinian Recollects. We live and share the Augustinian charism among young people.

We are not just any association. We were born under the protection of Mary, Mother of Consolation, and we are sustained by the prayer of an entire religious family that has been seeking God from within for centuries.

What moves us is simple: living halfway is not enough for us. We want a real encounter with Christ, true friendship with other young people, and a life dedicated to serving others.

distinctive marks

They are our DNA. We carry them in every activity, retreat, or decision.

Prayer-centered

We leave distraction behind and go within. Prayer, reading the Word, and the Eucharist are the heart of our daily life.

Community-focused

We relive the early Christian community of Jerusalem: one heart, the breaking of bread, solidarity with those who suffer, and true friendship.

Missionary

We are available to serve the Church. We are inspired by Saint Ezekiel Moreno and Saint Magdalene of Nagasaki: mission to the core, without half measures.

Marian

We walk under the gaze of Mary, Mother of Consolation. She always leads us to the heart of Christ.

Augustinian

We seek and announce God in the style of Saint Augustine: “Late have I loved you, beauty so ancient and so new.” Restless until we rest in Him.
